My preschool classroom is made up of students with special needs. It is the first school experience that these children have. They range from 3-5 years old and all have a variety of needs, such as autism, developmentally delayed, Down Syndrome, etc. Some of the children also have vision needs, while some have mobility issues. Our school is the largest elementary school in the county, and it has a lot of at-risk children who attend.
