The buckets were used for students to keep their Accelerated Reader Folders handy for use throughout the day so that they did not have to spend addition time to look for it when needed. We were able to use the rocks & minerals kits to study different rocks and minerals. The kits came with magnifying glasses for us to use as well. The book is an excellent resource for teaching about food chains in a variety of ecosystems. Students had to use literacy skills to complete a planning sheet which detailed the food chains described in the book. It truly was a labor of love and now I know my students have the a resource they can study notes and vocabulary.\r\n The current 5th graders were super excited to unbox the binders, colored paper (used as dividers for different objectives), and large boxes of three hole punched paper!
