Seeing the first butterflies visit the garden has been exciting and rewarding our students \r\nWhat's made the biggest impact is how students have connected with the space. Several classes have released butterflies into the garden, turning it into a hands-on learning experience they won't forget. During a recent narrative writing lesson, students used the styluses to draft and revise their stories digitally. They were highly engaged throughout the entire process and excited to take ownership of their work, especially when it came to editing and making improvements. The ability to easily revise their writing encouraged them to take more risks and focus on strengthening their ideas rather than feeling discouraged by mistakes. I have already seen noticeable growth in both the quality of their writing and their willingness to revise and improve their work.\r\n\r\nMy students were absolutely thrilled when they first saw the new materials. Their excitement was immediate, and they were eager to begin using them right away. The styluses, in particular, made them feel like they were using real-world tools, which increased their motivation and sense of responsibility. Many students who are typically more hesitant writers were especially eager to participate, which significantly increased overall classroom engagement. It was incredibly rewarding to see their enthusiasm translate directly into their learning and confidence.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, my students will continue using these resources to strengthen their writing skills, with a focus on revising, editing, and publishing their work. We are currently working on expanding their writing by adding more detail, improving sentence structure, and organizing their ideas more clearly. Students will also begin collaborating more by sharing their work with peers and providing one another with constructive feedback. This will help them develop both their writing and communication skills.\r\n\r\nThese resources have truly enhanced our classroom environment by making learning more interactive, engaging, and meaningful. I am excited to continue using them as my students grow as writers and build confidence in their abilities.","fullyFundedDate":1770993999004,"projectUrl":"project/writing-with-style/9905249/","projectTitle":"Writing With Style!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Braswell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7038245_orig.jpg?crop=1242,1242,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756309238171","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7038245"},{"teacherId":7038245,"projectId":9879434,"letterContent":"The anchor chart holders have made a significant impact on my classroom by improving both organization and student access to learning materials. Before having these holders, anchor charts were often limited by wall space and had to be taken down or rotated frequently. Now, I am able to keep multiple charts displayed and easily accessible for students to reference throughout the day.\r\n\r\nThis has been especially helpful during lessons, as students can independently revisit strategies, vocabulary, and examples without needing constant teacher support. The holders allow me to quickly flip between charts, which keeps instruction flowing smoothly and helps reinforce key concepts in real time.\r\n\r\nI have also noticed an increase in student independence and confidence. Students are more likely to use the anchor charts as a resource when working through challenges, which supports problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Whether we are reviewing writing strategies, math concepts, or reading skills, the charts are now an active part of our daily learning instead of something that is occasionally referenced.\r\n\r\nOverall, the anchor chart holders have helped create a more organized, efficient, and student-centered classroom environment. They have allowed me to maximize instructional time while providing students with consistent visual support, ultimately strengthening both engagement and understanding.","fullyFundedDate":1770993998706,"projectUrl":"project/look-back-for-literacy/9879434/","projectTitle":"Look Back for Literacy!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Braswell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7038245_orig.jpg?crop=1242,1242,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756309238171","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7038245"},{"teacherId":5666965,"projectId":9227567,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation of chapter books for our third-grade classroom!
