We are the home of the Tigers. At times, our little tigers can get over stimulated and frustrated in the classroom. It is very difficult for some of our students to regroup on their own or without being removed from their regular class environment. Creating this place for our students to come pause ("paws") and calm down will help eliminate further escalation and behaviors. This corner will also be used in conducting group and individual counseling sessions with students who are in need of these services. It is my hope that this area will be a safe place for students to come regroup and use the materials in the area to de-escalate and/or express themselves appropriately, as well as teach certain social skills like teamwork and encouraging each other.
