So when they saw the new stools every single one of them wanted to sit on them. We had to spend about 5 minutes letting each student take a turn sitting on them! That same afternoon, I got the rug but kept it until they left for the day. When they came in the next morning they all were smiling so big and saying \"wow\", \"I love the new rug\", and \"that is so pretty\". They were very excited to say the least! I showed them the pillows and chairs next. I was getting ready to go out and buy all the supplies myself when I got the notification that my project was funded. I can't explain to you the feeling that I felt, other than extreme gratitude. \r\n\r\nMy students are LOVING their new supplies. They were so excited to pick their pencil bags out. We even incorporated math into giving out the supplies! The students had to count how many of each supply they were getting and figure out what the total number of items in their pencil bag would be. \r\n\r\nThe look on their faces when I showed them their new supplies was priceless. They all had huge smiles and were telling me how happy they were that they were going to have crayons, pencils, and scissors; some weren't sure they were going to be able to have those things! \r\n\r\nWe have been using all of the supplies every single day. None of them have to worry about being ready to learn every day and I don't have to to worry about finding a little extra money to go out and purchase them myself.
