I am so excited to start my third year teaching in a Title 1 school in the resource classroom with students with developmental delays, high functioning autism, behavioral needs as well as learning disabilities. Each one of my students is so special in their own way & because of that they each require so many different modifications within our classroom. I strive for the ULTIMATE best for my students. I am looking to create an unique & loving, yet functional classroom to help with small group instruction work as well as independent work within the classroom. Because I am the only special education teacher at my school, I have had to take multiple students with multiple needs at the same time. Independent work is so important for my classroom & students it will help me reach more students & also increase their self esteem when they have the proper equipment & tools needed to succeed on their own.
