I am requesting one Apple laptop to provide literacy apps to foster students learning. The apps and websites on the laptop will be use throughout the day as a ticket out the door assessment for students. They will be given reading passages to read when they complete their literacy centers. Students will also increase their reading skills by using the laptop as a way to learn about different reading strategies and how to do close reading. They will learn reading techniques and have access to many articles online to read. I want my students to make real world connections when learning about literacy. Your generous donations will give students an early start to learning all about literacy. You will also be preparing them for 21st century as they become successful leaders for the future. Thank you in advance for making learning engaging in class.
