They definitely were greatly excited to play them. We have learned how to hold and play the drum sticks correctly. We have learned how to strike the drum \"lidz\" correctly. We have used them already in grades 2 - 5. It was successful in every class. \r\n\r\nThe reaction of the drum stick on the \"lidz\" is controlled but pleasant and fun to strike. They are durable. We even used them in a concert for quick and easy chairs for the guitar players to sit on! \r\n\r\nThe next step will be to utilize the bucket drums more in normal learning of reading rhythm but also in striking the different parts of the bucket for different timbres of percussion. \r\n\r\nThe lidz make the buckets very usable and practical in the classroom. I am overjoyed to have them. And the lidz would be of little value without the drumsticks!! Thanks so much for both of these!!","fullyFundedDate":1759340773554,"projectUrl":"project/drum-sticks-and-bucket-lids/9760396/","projectTitle":"Drum Sticks and Bucket Lids!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Leis","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9906720"},{"teacherId":9122214,"projectId":9570844,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the library refresh.
