Throughout the year, we will use our sublimation mugs to create personalized gifts featuring the children's artwork and meaningful moments from our classroom. It makes their work feel extra special and helps them understand that their creativity is valued.\r\n\r\nWe have also found another wonderful way to use our mugs—as little planters for our classroom gardening project! Each child will get to plant their own flower, carefully water it, and take responsibility for caring for it as it grows. They will learning patience, responsibility, and the basics of how plants grow while experiencing the excitement of watching something they planted come to life.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue incorporating gardening into our classroom learning. Students will observe and document how their plants change over time, talk about what plants need to grow, and celebrate the progress they make. We are so grateful to our donors for providing a resource that has become part of so many meaningful experiences in our classroom. I, of course, said yes and was thrilled to see them so interested in reading. The rest of the students did the same, and for about half an hour, the classroom was filled with students who chose to read their chapter books. I attribute this excitement to both our classroom work and the anticipation of their gallery walk/celebration.
