From the very first chapter, the students were captivated ,engaged, curious, and eagerly turning pages to find out what would happen next. The excitement didn't stop there.\r\n Following our reading, the class had the opportunity to watch the film adaptation, and after much enthusiastic discussion, the verdict was unanimous: the book won their hearts. Inspired by the story, students also used tissue rolls to create their very own robots, bringing their imaginations to life in a hands-on, creative way that extended the magic of the book beyond the page. There is no greater testament to the power of literature than a room full of young readers who choose the written word over the silver screen and who are moved enough to build their own world from it. \r\n Your generosity made all of these moments possible, and the love of reading and creativity you have helped to inspire in these students will last far beyond this school year. When the materials arrived, the excitement was immediate. One student looked at the wobble cushions and said, \"Wait... we get to sit on these during class?\" and the smiles that followed said everything. The flexible seating options, including the wobble cushions and chair bands, have made a noticeable difference in helping students stay focused, calm, and ready to learn. The wireless mice have also been incredibly helpful, giving students more independence when working on digital assignments and building their confidence as we continue preparing for state testing.\r\n\r\nWe use these materials every day in meaningful ways. The \"Everyone is Welcome\" resources helped us create a classroom environment where students truly feel a sense of belonging. The games have been a great addition during small group instruction and community building activities. Students are practicing collaboration, turn taking, and problem solving in a way that feels fun and natural. One moment that stood out to me was watching a group of students who usually struggle with focus stay fully engaged during a small group activity, using the seating supports and encouraging one another as they worked. It has been powerful to see students not only learning, but also supporting each other.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these resources will continue to support both academic growth and social emotional development. Right now, we are focusing on strengthening reading responses and math problem solving, and I am already seeing students build confidence and take more ownership of their learning. Your support has truly made a difference in our classroom. My students have the tools they need to succeed, and more importantly, they feel excited, comfortable, and ready to learn each day.
