They organize their materials in one, their computer and another, and we have pouches for a specific subject area materials. I loved seeing their faces light up as I introduced each item that was donated. They thought they were all cool and interesting supplies for our classroom. \r\n The students love the automatic pencil sharpener. They love to watch the pencil automatically go in, the sharpener lights up and then the pencil is released. I love it too. It means no more pencils jammed into the sharpener.\r\n The individual dividers for testing was a special hit for each student. They look forward to receive different colored dividers each time we test. They love reading the positive motivators on each one. It makes them feel special. \r\n The personal printer was amazing. The kids enjoy printing work from their iPads to show to their families. Some kids translate letters into their native language for families. The are amazed when the hit the button as see their work print out. \r\n The box of posts-its were a big help. Each student was able to receive their own pad and choose their favorite color. They are able to answer questions at the end of the lesson and posit on our chart. It makes them feel special and supported. \r\n Thank you, so much for all these supplies and more. Our school is located in a low income area. The kids love receiving new materials to use. Also, materials they can use on their own and have their individual copy. Since acquiring the sketchpads, they are able to show their learning by means of drawing and using speech bubbles.\r\nWhen they first saw the materials, they could not believe they have received it all for free. They excitedly put their names on the pads and decorated the outside cover of their sketchpads with stars and flowers. Some of them wrote their name creatively and outlined their name using the donated sharpies.
