Some of the practice tests were converted into Google Practice Sets, allowing students to check their answers and receive instant feedback, while others were used as full mock exams.\r\n\r\nThe abundance of high-quality practice questions greatly helped students identify their weaknesses, ask clarifying questions, and—most importantly—build confidence as the exam approached. Thanks to your contributions, we were able to bring this important cultural celebration to life in a meaningful and engaging way for all of our students.\r\n\r\nWith the decorations you provided, our classroom and social studies office were transformed into a vibrant space that reflected the traditions and spirit of the holiday. The snacks allowed students to experience cultural foods firsthand. The red envelopes were especially impactful, helping us teach the symbolism of luck, prosperity, and giving in a hands-on and memorable way. Students even suggested adding a fun twist by including a homework pass along with the snacks inside the red envelopes.\r\n\r\nOne of the highlights of our celebration was a Lunar New Year party where students brought in their favorite snacks to share with classmates. This created a wonderful opportunity for students to introduce one another to foods from their own cultures, encouraging curiosity, connection, and appreciation for the diversity within our classroom.\r\n\r\nProjects like this would not be possible without the kindness and support of donors like you. You helped create an inclusive and enriching learning experience that extended far beyond the classroom lesson.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this celebration so special for our students.","fullyFundedDate":1769438825890,"projectUrl":"project/happy-year-of-the-horse/9984824/","projectTitle":"Happy Year of the Horse!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Xu","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5800903_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1536548608658","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5800903"},{"teacherId":5800903,"projectId":9818278,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom with this iPad. It has been tremendously helpful for my English Language Learning students. The simple cartoons they create allow them to better visualize and memorize key historical events.\r\n\r\nOne activity that students especially enjoyed—and that I found very effective—was having them work in groups to create comic strips or cartoons representing assigned historical events. Each group then presented their comic to the class, and the rest of the students guessed which event it illustrated. This activity sparked a lot of engagement, collaboration, and meaningful discussion.\r\n\r\nBecause we are using the free version of Storyboard That, students are limited to simple visuals when creating their comics. Even so, the results have been wonderful. The two examples shared in the photos depict the Indian Removal Act and the Boston Massacre. There were lots of laughs, and more importantly, students walked away with those key events firmly consolidated in their memory.\r\n\r\nThank you again for this wonderful tool and for your continued support of our students' learning.","fullyFundedDate":1760557366867,"projectUrl":"project/gamify-learning-with-design/9818278/","projectTitle":"Gamify Learning with Design","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Xu","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5800903_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1536548608658","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5800903"},{"teacherId":5800903,"projectId":9653551,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting these AP Microeconomics worksheets for our economics students. The worksheets have been incredibly valuable in deepening students' understanding of the material.\r\n\r\nAfter each lesson, students complete the worksheets independently and then check and grade their own work. The following day, I address their questions and clarify any areas of confusion. This process has been instrumental in helping students consolidate their learning—listening to a lecture is one thing, but applying the concepts to solve problems truly strengthens understanding.\r\n\r\nIn the photo, you can see examples of students' completed work. I also created an accuracy tracker that allows students to identify which topics they need more practice or additional tutoring in. This has helped them take greater ownership of their learning and progress.\r\n\r\nThank you again for providing these wonderful resources and for supporting our students as they learn and enjoy economics. Students were thrilled to see free chocolate in class. At first, they didn't believe me when I said they could eat as much as they wanted—they were convinced I hadn't brought enough for everyone. As it turned out, I had more than enough.\r\n\r\nMost students only managed five or six pieces before they couldn't eat any more. The record was an impressive 12 Kinder Bueno bars, and the student proudly told us she could have eaten more if she'd had a little time to rest! As students consumed each piece, they recorded their marginal utility and later analyzed the trend in their data.\r\n\r\nThis hands-on simulation made the concept of diminishing marginal utility come alive. It was not only fun and memorable, but also incredibly effective—students truly felt the law in action. Even in later lessons, I've been able to refer back to our \"chocolate binge\" experiment to reinforce the concept.\r\n\r\nThank you for making this lesson engaging, meaningful, and unforgettable for my students. They now use the red ink for grading, which helps them identify areas to review and questions to ask later.\r\n\r\nLater in the school year, these pens will be especially useful when we start graphing various economic models. Students will be able to color-code demand and supply curves and clearly label consumer surplus, producer surplus, tax revenue, and deadweight loss.\r\n\r\nThank you again for providing our class with such a thoughtful and powerful learning tool!","fullyFundedDate":1747063617575,"projectUrl":"project/graphing-like-a-pro-with-multicolor-pens/9322796/","projectTitle":"Graphing Like a Pro with Multicolor Pens","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Xu","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5800903_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1536548608658","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5800903"},{"teacherId":5800903,"projectId":9177159,"letterContent":"Thank you for filling our class drawer with AP Economics review books.
