The class that was in my classroom when the delivery arrived assisted me in opening the box and in assembling the chair. It was so beautiful to see them all collaborate in reading the instructions and using their knowledge of fractions to identify the correct size of screws that were required for proper assembly. In a matter of minutes the chair was ready to use and everyone present had an opportunity to test the chair for comfort. The chair passed the comfort test; all the students loved it and decided that it would be called \"the comfy chair\"! \r\n\r\nSince all my classes were eager to sit in the new chair when they saw it, I created a rotating schedule that ensured that everyone had a turn. The chair definitely makes the kids feel special. After we took our tour, library staff helped all of the students make book marks. If I'm not too busy other days during my lunch period, they are allowed to come as well.\r\n\r\nThis club has truly brought out the creativity in my students. Learning vocabulary can oftentimes be dry and boring; I'm the first to admit this.
