My students will use the iPads to learn about nutrition and proper eating habits through fun apps. The wobble cushions will help them to develop their core and to strengthen their diaphragms, which will help them to improve their breathing during speech. Students will be able to listen to themselves read "The Omnivore's Dilemma" by using the Toobaloo speaking phones. I will also be able to show them videos about nutrition and wellness using the external drive. Developing speech and language skills through multiple modalities is important for every child's health and wellness. Through independent group activities, my students will improve their speech and learn how to live healthy lives.
