As they play, the children are expanding their communication skills by planning their play together, assigning roles, and negotiating who will be who. They are also strengthening their social skills through cooperation, turn-taking, and shared decision-making.\r\n\r\nThe dress-up trunks have been especially meaningful as students use and practice the family-related vocabulary we learned during our families unit. They are excited to mix and match outfits, explore different roles, and create new scenarios every day.\r\n\r\nThank you for your thoughtful donation and for supporting learning through play.
