My students love art, and I love to teach it! I am their regular classroom teacher, but we do not have a structured art program at our small school. We have done a lot of work with colored pencils, chalk, charcoal, and markers, but I would like to work with paint, with them. We have a class set of canvasses that were donated, but we need brushes and paint! My students are extremely enthusiastic and never waste time or materials. You can be rest assured that these art supplies will go to good use! Studies have shown the benefit of art instruction for students. Not only does it encourage creativity and lower stress, but they can use the things they learn in academic subjects. Their science diagrams and social studies projects look so much better when they've had basic art instruction!
