The computer mice have also been a true game changer it has made accessing the mandated computer programs easier to navigate for my students. The tens frame magnetic numbers has helped my kinder students master the skill of adding 10 + any single digit number. Because of you, my students now have essential supplies that make a real difference in their daily learning experience. Your donations of dry erase markers, scissors, earbuds, and a wooden organizer have truly helped our classroom run more smoothly and effectively.\r\n\r\nThe dry erase markers are used every single day. Whether students are solving math problems, practicing skills, or participating in quick checks for understanding, these tools allow for active engagement and immediate feedback. Students love being able to share their thinking in a low-pressure way, and it keeps lessons interactive and fun.\r\n\r\nThe scissors you provided may seem simple, but they are incredibly important. From science projects to interactive notebook activities, having reliable materials ensures that all students can fully participate without interruption. It helps keep our classroom organized and allows us to focus more on learning rather than sharing limited supplies.\r\n\r\nThe earbuds have also made a big impact. With technology being an important part of our instruction, students often need to listen to lessons, complete assessments, or work independently at their own pace. Having their own earbuds allows them to stay focused without distractions and supports a more personalized learning experience for each student.\r\n\r\nIn addition, your contribution toward a wooden organizer has been a game changer for our classroom. Since I teach two classes, managing student workbooks can be a challenge. This organizer has given us a structured and consistent place to store materials, making transitions smoother and saving valuable instructional time. Students are able to quickly access their work, stay organized, and take greater responsibility for their materials.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your kindness and for investing in our classroom. Your kindness has already made a meaningful difference in our classroom, and I am incredibly grateful.\r\n\r\nThe addition of graphic novels and high-interest 5th grade books is especially impactful. Graphic novels provide a powerful bridge for many readers. They combine visual storytelling with text that helps students build comprehension, vocabulary, and confidence. For some students, these books make reading feel more accessible and less intimidating, while for others, they spark a renewed excitement for stories and characters.\r\n\r\nOffering a diverse classroom library also helps students discover what they love to read. When students can choose books that interest them, they are more likely to stay engaged, read more frequently, and begin to see themselves as readers. These positive reading experiences are what help build lifelong reading habits, which is something that will benefit them far beyond our classroom.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, my students are not just reading more, they are enjoying reading more. This flexibility is a game-changer for my students; we have seen a noticeable decrease in sensory-related frustration and a significant increase in student stamina during our core lessons.\r\n\r\nWhen my students are physically comfortable and have the high-quality, tactile supplies they need to engage with the world, the barriers to learning melt away. As the project name indicates, I provide Adapted PE services to students in the special education program. This project has not only greatly impacted the participation rate but as well as the enjoyment our students were getting when they participate.\r\n\r\nStudents were so excited when a rolled in with the new cart with various equipment they can use during choice play. Students have learned to follow a routine in class that we have to participate with the rest of the class and then choice play when given the opportunity by the general PE teacher. They were so happy to see the beanbag toss activity and the light frisbee. It was actually perfect timing because the lesson was introduction to frisbee where the kids will throw the frisbee and get points if they are able to toss it into a hula hoop. Students with limited mobility, either in a wheelchair or with physical limitations, enjoy the bean bag toss a lot. Even their classmates without physical limitations play with them. This game encouraged a lot of inclusion and peer interactions. The dodgeballs were used in a modified dodgeball game. Instead of targeting peers/classmates, the class used bowling pins as targets. Students enjoyed it more especially because they are not the targets. It was a good combination of cardio and coordination skills.\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you very much for all that you do to support us teachers and provide these opportunities for our students.","fullyFundedDate":1768739267309,"projectUrl":"project/inclusion-through-adapted-pe/10035148/","projectTitle":"Inclusion Through Adapted PE","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Tuballa","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2422032_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1541979612656","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2422032"},{"teacherId":4801324,"projectId":9998943,"letterContent":"On behalf of myself and my 5th graders, I want to express my sincerest thanks for all the supplies that help make our small group time more enjoyable and meaningful. \r\n\r\nThe colorful cushions have been helpful in allowing us to expand our learning space.
