I am requesting four kits of the 2018 CREATIVE TOY OF THE YEAR; Droid Inventor Kit, so that I may create Kagan groups to increase engagement and critical thinking skills for all students. These engaging classroom robots will allow my students to continue to refine their programming skills throughout an entire school year! Kids in my classroom will work at the highest levels of Bloom's by constructing a group droid and bringing it to life using the littleBits Droid Inventor app. Groups can control their droid, give it new abilities with easy block-based coding, and be able to use these bots throughout the entire school year to grow in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
