The dry-erase pocket charts and colored paper have quickly become valuable tools that help my students participate, practice new skills, and communicate their mathematical thinking with confidence.\r\nDuring math lessons, students use the dry-erase pocket charts to solve problems, show their work, and easily make corrections as their understanding grows. The colored paper also gives me a quick way to check student understanding. Students can use different colors to communicate whether they feel confident with a skill or still need additional support. This allows me to immediately identify students who are ready to move forward and those who would benefit from reteaching or a small-group check-in.\r\nThese materials have made our math lessons more interactive and student-centered. Instead of being afraid to make a mistake on paper, students can try a strategy, erase, revise, and try again. They are becoming more comfortable sharing their thinking and learning that mistakes are an important part of becoming stronger mathematicians.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has helped create a classroom where students can actively participate and where I can respond to their learning needs in the moment.
