The sensory tools have become an important part of our daily classroom routine. Students continue to use them every day to help regulate emotions, improve focus, and remain engaged during instruction and activities. These tools have also created opportunities for students to collaborate, communicate, and build stronger social connections with one another throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nThe resources from this project have also helped strengthen important real-life and vocational skills. Students have been practicing money skills through hands-on learning activities, including identifying coins and bills, creating change, and discussing the least amount of money needed to make purchases. These practical experiences have helped students build confidence while applying math skills to real-world situations.\r\n\r\nIn addition, the analog clocks funded through this project have provided students with hands-on opportunities to practice telling time. Being able to physically manipulate the clocks has helped students better understand hour and minute relationships while building an important daily living skill that many of them continue to work toward mastering.\r\n\r\nOne of the most rewarding parts of this project has been seeing students become more independent, engaged, and confident in their abilities. The materials have allowed learning to become interactive, meaningful, and connected to real-life experiences that students can use both inside and outside of the classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and investing in their future.
