It impacted my students by allowing them to have a reading nook with flexible seating for reading and writing, and for better organization of their class materials. They were able to store white boards, markers, and dry erasers in the organizer, as well as a storage space for fraction tiles and rulers for math. When they first saw the flexible seating rocking chairs, they were ecstatic to use them during silent reading time and in their small group for writing. It was very useful to have materials that students could use every single day that made it more enjoyable in the classroom. \r\nThank you so very much for your donation.","fullyFundedDate":1699732847731,"projectUrl":"project/fun-and-welcoming-third-grade-classroom/8014211/","projectTitle":"Fun and Welcoming Third Grade Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Chimaroke","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8504879_orig.jpg?crop=480,480,x0,y8&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1673975382679","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/chimarokes5thgrade"},{"teacherId":8969668,"projectId":8008469,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, our classroom has been transformed into a more engaging and supportive learning environment. The addition of headphones has had an immediate and powerful impact—students are now able to focus during computer-based learning activities without distractions. Programs that support reading fluency, math fact practice, and individualized learning have become more effective because students can work at their own pace, fully immersed in their tasks. For many of our students, this is the first time they've had access to such high-quality, personal learning tools, and it's made a big difference in their confidence and progress.\r\n\r\nThe art supplies and colored printer paper have brought a fresh sense of creativity and excitement to our classroom. From making posters for social studies projects to expressing themselves through art, students now have the materials they need to bring their ideas to life. One student who had previously been quiet and hesitant during group work has found her voice through our creative assignments—her enthusiasm and participation have grown tremendously since these supplies arrived. Similarly, the classroom mailbox sorter has helped foster independence and organization, giving students a central spot to collect and share their work, notes, and achievements.\r\n\r\nIt's truly amazing to see how a few thoughtful tools can spark so much joy and growth.
