Funding these materials will help me add a splash of life into my life skills classroom and will help keep my students engaged. Through this project, I am hopeful that my students will be able to have access to a plethora of activities, games, and manipulatives that will help them learn and will keep them excited to do so. My students are so eager to see me every day and I am remaining eager that I will be able to brighten up their world with these supplies. With these supplies, my students will be able to learn through play and engage in cooperative learning, which is a first for most of my students due to COVID-19. Of my eight students, four of them are in fifth grade and currently learning letter identification and sounds. This means that I have the opportunity to encourage them to enhance their learning and to make it a place where all of my students want to come and a place where they want to learn. As much as I would like to, this is a hard task to accomplish alone. By providing my students with these activities and resources, you will be adding manipulatives that will encourage their learning and help to keep my students engaged in learning, which is the ultimate goal of education. This project will help to meet the following standards: ELA: RL.3.1,RL.3.2, RF.3.3, RF.3.3b,RI.4.3,RF.4.3 , RF.4.3a, RF.5.3, RF.5.4 Math: 3.NBT.A.1, 3.NBT.A.2, 4.NBT.A.1, 4.NBT.A.2, 5.NBT.B.7
