Having enough high-quality materials for every student allowed them to fully engage in the creative process without waiting, sharing, or limiting their ideas due to supply shortages.\r\n\r\nOne especially powerful moment occurred during our ink landscape unit, when students practiced intentional brush control, value contrast, and composition using the sumi ink and brushes. Students slowed down, focused deeply, and took pride in their work as they learned that a single brushstroke could communicate movement, balance, and emotion.
