Far too often older students don't read for enjoyment. I would like help creating a reading nook in my classroom. This reading nook will contain chairs (not desks), cozy pillows, beautiful pictures, and a comfortable place for students to read. Reading comprehension and writing go hand-in-hand. The more students read their comprehension skills will increase, and their writing will improve as well. Students are always forced to read based on the teacher's curriculum choices. This reading nook will be a spot in the classroom where students will be able to read for enjoyment.
