Because of your generosity, our students will grow not only as readers and writers, but also as leaders making a meaningful difference in our school and community.\r\n\r\nThe new books and literacy materials have brought excitement and energy into our classroom. Reading in our classroom is active, engaging, and student-centered. Students work together in reading groups, discuss characters and themes, practice fluency while reading aloud, and use writing journals to reflect on their learning. Many students eagerly grab books during independent reading time and enjoy sharing recommendations with classmates.\r\n\r\nThese new texts will help strengthen important literacy skills such as comprehension, vocabulary, fluency, critical thinking, and written responses. Students are learning to make connections to texts, ask thoughtful questions, support their ideas with evidence, and communicate clearly through speaking and writing activities. Beyond academics, the books are also encouraging empathy, confidence, creativity, and a deeper love of reading.\r\n\r\nOne of the most rewarding parts of this project has been watching students take ownership of the literacy initiative. Students have proudly created flyers, organized book donations, sorted books, and prepared literacy kits to share with others. They especially enjoy participating in reading activities with younger students and seeing the excitement books bring to others in our community.\r\n\r\nYour support has done so much more than provide books and supplies. You have helped create opportunities for students to become compassionate leaders, confident readers, and active members of their community.
