Having access to popular and familiar book sets gave my students a variety of engaging books that they were excited to read and revisit.\r\n\r\nThe books became an important part of our daily reading routine. Students had opportunities to read independently, practice reading with greater accuracy and fluency, and strengthen their comprehension. Because the books were engaging and accessible, reading practice felt less like an assignment and more like something students wanted to do for fun.\r\n\r\nFor many of my students, having books available at school gave them opportunities to read that they might not otherwise have had. Seeing students become excited about choosing a book, sharing what they had read, and wanting to keep reading was one of the most rewarding parts of this project.\r\n\r\nThe impact went beyond completing reading logs. These books helped my students develop stronger reading habits and, most importantly, helped them see themselves as readers. As their confidence and skills grew, academic reading became less intimidating and more manageable.\r\n\r\nI am so grateful to the donors who made this project possible. Instead of students completing the same type of practice over and over, I was able to provide activities, games, and interactive resources that made learning feel more fun. My students especially enjoyed being able to use games and other activities as a way to practice skills and celebrate their accomplishments after completing their work.\r\n\r\nThese resources were particularly helpful because my students have different strengths, needs, and learning styles. Before this project, many of those notes ended up on sticky notes scattered around my classroom, making it easy to misplace an important reminder or piece of information.\r\n\r\nThe writing tablet gave me a simple and convenient way to take notes, make lists, record ideas, and keep track of important tasks without using piles of paper or dozens of sticky notes. It felt natural to use because it provided the experience of writing on paper while giving me a more organized way to manage my notes.\r\n\r\nHaving this resource helped me spend less time searching for misplaced notes and more time focusing on my students.
