Students learned quickly about earning potential being based on their choices and misbehaviors have decreased as a result. The games have been at hit during math rotations! The mini fridge has been a game-changer for our low-income community, allowing us to safely store leftover breakfast items so no food goes to waste and no stomachs are left empty. During our literacy blocks, the voice recorders have become an incredible tool for building independence and confidence; struggling readers can listen to pre-recorded instructions or practice reading aloud. They love sitting on the new stool known as our \"Author's Chair\" as they present their work. The picture dictionaries are constantly in use during writing time, empowering students to discover new words, verify spellings, and expand their vocabulary with visual support. \r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are using these momentum-building tools to record their own stories and listen back to their speaking.
