The flexible seating will help my students have a chance to collaborate safely and comfortably in this new era of learning during a pandemic. They have had a lot of time at home where they were used to comfy couches and beds, and now back in school I don't want them to just sit at their desk all day long. Moreover, I want them to able to learn from one another in a safe, but welcoming learning environment. They have so much to share and discuss during our days! The headphones will help for those students whom earbuds just don't work on, they are also easier to disinfect so I can maintain a safe learning environment. We do a lot of computer programs, in which students need to be able to listen to the directions and lesson. My students also need to build their core multiplication facts due to the fact that 4th grade focuses on double and triple digit multiplication. Lastly, a timer to help them with time management!
