Students have been learning about the connection between monarch butterflies and Día de los Muertos while using art to bring their learning to life. These activities allow students to practice Spanish vocabulary while making meaningful connections to science, geography, and culture.\r\n\r\nIt has been wonderful to see their excitement as we introduce new materials and creative projects. Students love having opportunities to create something of their own, and I especially enjoy watching their confidence grow as they share what they have learned.\r\n\r\nNext, we will continue exploring Spanish-speaking countries through new cultural celebrations, traditions, and art projects.
