This project is to give my hard-working and deserving fourth grade students a gift of new headphones and computer mice for their Chromebooks. The ones my students are currently using are old and we are having to throw many away because they can no longer be used. My students use technology to create, collaborate, and engage in their learning. This year, my fourth graders have researched and created presentations about animal adaptations and ecosystems in science. They went through the writing process and published a "Best Part of Me" essay. Each day the students practice reading or math at their individualized level using online programs. Having a mouse that works will allow my students to navigate the Chromebook more efficiently and the headphones will help my students focus on their learning.
