I am requesting three Osmo Genius Kits and one Coding Kit. My students need both technology and hands-on materials throughout the day to practice math and literacy skills that are fun and engaging. The Osmo does just that! My students will be able to build puzzles using shapes, practice numbers, letters, build words, and make their drawings come to life during literacy center and small group time. Students will also learn how to problem solve using the coding kit, that will help them succeed in the modern world of technology. Your generous donation will improve the literacy, math, and technology in our kindergarten class. The Osmo will provide students with another way to use technology and learn the state standards at the same time. It also impacts students motor skills, cognitive development, social skills, and spatial intelligence. It is a highly engaging tool for students to collaborate with each other, use teamwork, hands-on materials, and technology at the same time to successfully practice literacy and math standards. This will help create an environment that promotes success for all learners in my class and provide them with the skills they need for the 21st century! Creating a successful and highly motivating environment for my students at an early age will instill a love for learning!
