When the new dodgeballs arrived, our students' excitement was immediate. They couldn't wait to use them during PE, recess, and classroom brain breaks. Seeing enough equipment for everyone meant more students could participate at the same time, which made games more active, inclusive, and enjoyable. The new shelving was also a huge improvement, giving us a dedicated place to organize our equipment so students can quickly find what they need and return it when activities are finished.\r\n\r\nOne of our favorite moments so far has been using the new dodgeballs during team-building games that focused on communication, cooperation, and problem-solving rather than competition alone. Students encouraged one another, celebrated successes, and practiced working together to achieve a common goal. The organized storage has also helped students take ownership of our classroom and activity spaces by responsibly caring for the equipment.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we will continue using these resources to support fitness activities, cooperative games, indoor recess, and movement breaks throughout the school year. Our goal is to help students build healthy habits, strengthen teamwork and leadership skills, and stay engaged in learning by incorporating meaningful movement into each week.
