With donations, I plan to purchase supplies to create "safe zones" in our classrooms as well as supply a "Zen Den" or area that students can come to unwind and relieve stress. We teach student ways of mediation and mindfulness in order to help them better cope with their environments. When we return to school in August I hope to have our Safe Zones and the Zen Den up and running. I anticipate students have been undergoing an undue amount of stress during the pandemic shut down. I will be a very busy person and these tools will be helpful.
