As we began to prepare fir the test. I will say, \"Asian Colonism, red day.\" The students will go to that unit and provide me the countries that imperialized Asia. I might say, \"Africa, blue day.\" The student will flip to that section and tell me the countries that imperialized Africa. \r\n\r\nWe use the index cards for key terms, vocabulary, major battles, empires, and countries. When studying Biology, for psychology, they have a Brain Coloring Packet that they work on. I have noticed in past years that it has been hard to identify certain parts of the brain from books or notes. With the Brain Model, students were able to identify parts much easier. Many of my students do not use spoken language. They rely on gestures, pictures, and high tech devices to communicate basic wants and needs.
