My scholars deserve support and help emotionally. We complete a lot of projects with color, drawing, and making beautiful art to express themselves on such serious topics as the Fundamentals of Law and Crime and Justice. We study topics that they can relate to on a personal level and utilizing art and colors and celebrating cultures is what helps them to embrace the serious topics learned. My students don't have materials everyday so if I can provide some, we can continue the learning and love of education. As their teacher, I only want what is best for them. At times not having supplies is an opportunity for them to avoid learning. I want to have them learn with no excuses and I want them to walk into a classroom and see celebration of cultures and a love for differences.
