The Apple iPad Air will make a huge difference in the students learning, because it is utilizing an interface that translates with their mode of learning in this current day and age. Considering that 99% of my students have a phone, most students spend the majority of their time on it. Having an iPad Air in class will be beneficial because students are familiar with the technology, which in turn helps them with being 21st century learners and hopefully contributing members of society. I will use the iPad to transfer their fitness scores so that they can see their progress on their phones, utilize it to provide video examples of exercises/skills, and allow them to use interactive nutrition lessons to better facilitate their learning.
