For many, this was their first experience with this medium. Students learned to roll a coil using Model Magic and press the clay onto a texture plate to create wings for their dragonflies. These young artists couldn't wait to take them home to share with their families!\r\n\r\nMy older students also enjoyed working with their clay and found it challenging to maintain the right moisture to avoid cracking and applying the slip and scratch techniques.
