I alternate whole group instruction between rug time and seat time with drills and transitions, too. I am working on keeping my students calm, focused and engaged. I am looking for a way to encourage students to stay in their seats through the use of Bouncy Bands on their chairs. As well as encouraging students to persist in seatwork, this donation promises to stop wiggly bodies from disturbing neighbors and make group seating arrangements a positive experience for all. "The ORIGINAL Bouncy Bands for Chairs help students move while they work. Children enjoy bouncing their feet and feeling the tension to relieve their anxiety, hyperactivity, frustration, or boredom."
