But, they had no idea what it meant. They saw boxes get delivered and were getting more and more excited to learn what it all was. I let them watch me build the tables, and start filling them with the materials we would be using. I am already seeing an increase in engagement and they are so excited to participate in the math and phonics activities in the bins.\r\n\r\nNot only are students strengthening their academic skills, but the amount of social interaction that takes place in this area of the classroom is unmatched. Student are sharing, taking turns, and negotiating.
