Each student receives a spiral notebook. We create two page doodle notes for each of our math concepts taken from the math standards over the course of the school year. The notes will consume the first twp sections of the notebook and the final section of the notebook is for scratch work in the form of classwork, tests and quizzes. We keep scratch work in this manner as opposed to random scraps of paper which are oftentimes tossed to stress the importance of learning from and correcting our mistakes. Interactive notebooks reinforce the I DO, YOU DO, WE DO methodology.
