We were able to reach students of all levels of academic and artistic abilities, and make them feel valuable. Students who love art but rarely get it in school had a chance to shine! We also came together as a staff to make this project happen, as it took a lot of setup, coordination, and effort to execute. Many staff members learned from how we connected the art project to their classroom standards, and were inspired to plan similar projects for the future. As anticipated, the impact spread outside the school walls, as students took their art home and shared it with pride, or planned to give it away to brighten a loved one's home.
