This is my 10th year teaching. I have found that teaching is a calling, not so much a job. I have learned that the classroom needs to be student centered. They need to move around to experience learning. I use Station Rotations which allow my kiddos to own their learning. I want them to be responsible and more self-reflective. They are truly an amazing group of students. We are a Title 1 School, which means a high percentage of our children come from low-income families. My students are a hands-on group this year. I try to teach my students in creative ways. I have to admit, learning is more fun that way!
