We have been utilizing the cushions, clipboards and rocking seats almost daily! The cushions are a preferred seating arrangement for all my students, who love being able to choose their favorite color from the wide variety of colors! I love seeing my students using the rocker chairs during our independent reading times as students grab these quickly and move to various corners of the room. My class loves being able to work anywhere in the room with their partners or small groups! \r\n\r\nAs a teacher, I used to dread using clipboards in the classroom because my students could not remember to pick them up and put them away properly. Now, using clipboards is one of my favorite instructional strategies because the students know exactly where to find a clipboard to begin their work! Clean up is quick and easy because students enjoy stacking them neatly in their holder when we are finished with an activity!
