We will be using Breakout Edu boxes to encourage collaboration. My students will work together to solve content based problems and puzzles. Each new problem will give them the combination to a lock and a new problem. Teamwork is a critical 21st century skill. Utilizing these boxes across the curriculum will enhance my students learning, while helping them build trust and learn to cooperate to attain a collective goal. Breakout Edu capitalizes on making learning fun and interactive. A basic math problem can become a race to get to the next step. I want to use these materials to introduce new concepts, expand current ones and review old concepts in new ways.
