The stand racks also allow for easy transportation for when we are performing in spaces other than the band room. \r\n\r\nThe band room my students are in is very limited in space--these stand racks aid with using our space wisely. They are out of the way against the wall, and when need be, can be moved into our small storage closet. Most of my students are unable to afford their own instruments or supplies to keep them running. Your donation means my students have the reeds, valve oil, slide oil, swabs, and other supplies they need to keep their instrument playing smoothly, and to clean it daily to prevent mold from growing inside. \r\n\r\nAn often overlooked part of middle school band is the daily and weekly maintenance it takes to keep an instrument running. By donating these materials, my students are learning responsibility because they must perform the daily tasks, and weekly tasks to keep their instruments functioning and sounding great. My students learn very fast that if they skip a day, or week, their instrument stops working, and this creates one of their bigger learning moments--that one 3 minute task a day means they can continue in the music making process everyday. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for your donation--having the necessary supplies makes teaching music making a much better exepericne, and my students are better for it.","fullyFundedDate":1746786382019,"projectUrl":"project/our-band-supply-fund/9269378/","projectTitle":"Our Band Supply Fund","teacherDisplayName":"Mx.
