Many students said the new titles made them curious and eager to dive into stories they might not have chosen on their own.\r\n\r\nThe availability of more variety naturally motivated students to read more and more deeply. This helped create greater opportunity for them to find books that matched their interests and challenged their thinking to help build stronger reading habits. The new materials also encouraged independent reading and sparked spontaneous conversations about themes, characters, and writing styles—absolutely the kind of conversations that we hope students will engage in more.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, the books made class more fun. Discussions became more lively, activities more engaging, and students more invested in sharing their perspectives. The excitement around the new texts created a positive energy in the room, turning reading into something they looked forward to each day. It's a hard time of year for kids to keep motivated- so having Chromebook chargers whenever they need them is already a big relief to them. \r\n\r\nWriting lab is equipped with snacks, a printer, and Chromebook chargers because of Donors Choose. It truly has helped buoy kids up. They have a lot going on, a lot to write about. So it's great we have a space equipped to help them succeed and learn.\r\n\r\nI know some chargers will get lost. The snacks will go fast.
