Students need more hands on activities to make the lessons concrete. These items will help us build shapes so students can explore the properties of 3D shapes. They can work in groups to problem solve and share their ideas with each other. Math can be such a abstract topic and anything we can provide to make the ideas more concrete for them to explore and investigate will deepen their understanding. The puzzles will help students develop their special reasoning and problem solving skills in a fun way as well as a opportunity to work together and talk math with their classmates.
