Give students an opportunity to use their cell phones constructively and effectively! Since ASL is a visual (not written) language, my ASL students record videos using their cell phones to demonstrate their ASL skills. What becomes a problem is that students do not have access to cell phone tripods so another student needs to hold the phone while recording. Final videos often shake or bounce making it challenging to watch the signing. Videos that move, shake, or bounce while watching someone signing would be equivalent to trying to read a student's illegible writing. Because American Sign Language (ASL) is a visual language, students need tools for creating STEADY videos. By donating to our project, you will be providing American Sign Language students a UBeesize Tripod S, Premium Phone Tripod, Flexible Tripod with Wireless Remote Shutter they need for using their cell phones constructively!
