For many of us, emotions as anxiety, stress, and self-doubt are part of our daily routine — and often, we do not know how to handle them.\r\n\r\nThat is why receiving a self-esteem support bag filled with mental health resources meant so much.\r\n\r\nThe books included stories and strategies that helped me understand what I am going through. I learned that mental health is not something to hide — it is something to take care of. Reading about characters and people who overcame similar challenges made me feel less alone.\r\n\r\nThe affirmation cards, journals, and calming tools reminded me that my feelings are valid and that I have the power to care for myself. The students who have me this year are very happy to be in a classroom that has school supplies available to them.
