They have loved using the lap desks to work with each other, to get out of their traditional seats, and to create a standing desk out of their regular height tables.\r\n\r\nThe kick bands are such a great way for them to keep moving while still seated. The bouncy cups for the bottoms of the chairs also allow for unique movement while not disturbing others. \r\n\r\nAll of these seating choices are \"life savers\" for my on the go kids! We now have several different seating options for students to choose from. \r\nThe wobble stools have been assigned to students who enjoying having a whole body rocking motion. The wobble cushions are rotated around the classroom, as most students enjoy having turns with them on their chairs. The rotating cushion helps support one student, it allows him to have more movement in his seat. Several students are using the foot bands. They rest their feet on them and quietly bounce up and down. The wobble feet are used on the bottom of chairs, so the chair can bounce and sway side to side if students are needing to move. The calming stones, cloth band, and large ball are used by all students regularly. \r\nI have noticed that students are more engaged when they are using these tools. They now have the freedom to wiggle and move their bodies, while learning in class.
