These materials transformed what could have been long, restless indoor days into meaningful and enjoyable experiences for my students. Instead of feeling cooped up, students looked forward to recess as a time to explore, create, and play in new ways.\r\n\r\nThe donated materials also provided valuable opportunities for students to build important skills. They were able to socialize face-to-face without relying on computers, practicing communication, teamwork, and cooperation. At the same time, games and puzzles challenged them to think critically, solve problems, and persevere through challenges. They couldn't believe how many new options we had and wanted to start playing immediately. Their faces said it all, pure joy.\r\nWith all the snow we've had, indoor recess has been happening a lot, and these games have completely changed it for us. They don't even ask for Chromebooks anymore. Instead, they're excited to pick a game and play together. The only problem now is that they never want recess to end! Sometimes they even struggle to choose because they love them all.\r\nNext, we're planning to keep using the games to help build teamwork and problem solving skills during both recess and small group time. We are so incredibly thankful for our donors. Your generosity truly made a difference in our classroom, especially during these long winter days.
