The flexible seating options have given students more choice and ownership over where they learn best, which has helped improve focus and participation. One memorable classroom moment was during small-group reading instruction when students eagerly chose their seating spots and immediately settled in. I noticed students staying engaged longer, participating more in discussions, and showing excitement about learning in their new spaces.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, their reactions were priceless. They walked into the classroom with huge smiles, wide eyes, and so much excitement. Many immediately asked if they could try the new seating and could not wait to explore the different options. They felt special knowing that people cared enough to support our classroom, and their enthusiasm made the experience even more meaningful.\r\n\r\nAs we continue using these resources, our next steps are to build routines that help students make thoughtful choices about where they learn best and continue using the seating to support collaboration and independence. We are currently working on strengthening reading and writing skills through partner work, small groups, and classroom discussions, and these resources will continue to create flexible spaces where students can work together, stay engaged, and do their best learning. Thank you for helping create a classroom environment where students feel excited, supported, and ready to succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1778513946881,"projectUrl":"project/basic-supplies-in-2nd-grade/10193293/","projectTitle":"Basic Supplies in 2nd Grade!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Krabbeler","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2824024_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1670074837976","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/miss-krabbeler"},{"teacherId":2824024,"projectId":10160037,"letterContent":"Our new technology resources have had a meaningful impact on student learning by making lessons more engaging, interactive, and accessible for all learners. Students are able to actively participate rather than simply listen or watch, which has increased both their motivation and understanding. The technology provides opportunities for students to practice skills in a hands-on way while receiving immediate feedback, helping them build confidence and take ownership of their learning. It has also allowed me to differentiate instruction and better meet the needs of students at varying ability levels.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for students has been the opportunity to learn through interactive activities and engaging digital experiences. From the moment they first used the new technology, their excitement was evident. They eagerly wanted to explore, collaborate with classmates, and share what they discovered. The technology has brought a new level of enthusiasm to our classroom and has made learning feel fun while still supporting important academic goals.\r\n\r\nSome students, especially those who may have previously struggled with staying engaged or participating during traditional lessons, have truly connected with this technology. Students who benefit from visual supports, interactive learning opportunities, or additional encouragement have become more confident and eager to participate. It has been rewarding to see students who were once hesitant become excited learners who are proud of their progress.
